Practice Group
In addition to the defense of litigated claims, our employment law attorneys provide legal advice in drafting and reviewing employee handbooks/corporate policy manuals, employee contracts, non-compete agreements/restrictive covenants and confidentiality agreements. We provide or review anti-harassment policies and their dissemination. Our counsel includes advice on wage and hour issues and appearances before the Wage and Hour Board. We also assist clients in sensitive areas of severance and termination. We are able to prepare and review employment documents in an effort to have our clients avoid potential employment problems and meet our goal of having preventative measures in place. We recommend that our clients allow us to conduct employment training seminars in an effort to educate management and employees as to the complexity of issues that may arise. Lastly, we inform our clients on a regular basis of changes in this evolving area of the law so that our clients maintain necessary legal compliance. |
